We have recently produced a fish bombing awareness video on behalf of the Department of Fisheries, Sabah, Malaysia. In this production, we used our stunning underwater footage of Sabah’s underwater world to contrast the negative footage of some of the worst-hit areas that have tragically been destroyed by blast fishing.

With live footage of this devastating fishing technique and its after-effects, together with interviews with a bomb fisherman handicapped as a result of bomb fishing, hopefully this production will help to raise awareness about this destructive technique and the very real problems it is causing Sabah ’s reef systems. This was a truly fascinating production to have been involved in and a topic that’s so close to our hearts.
