Deadly 60 Scoops Two Children’s BAFTA Awards

Deadly 60, the BBC’s leading children’s wildlife programme, has won two 2011 British Academy Children’s Awards. Winners were announced at the ceremony on Sunday 27 November at the London Hilton on Park Lane. After being nominated for the Humboldt squid program from series 2, which senior cameraman Simon Enderby filmed with  D60 team in Mexico, the overall series won best factual program whilst Steve Backshall took home the gong for best presenter for his work on the show. Scubazoo have been working with Steve since his days on the Really Wild Show and more recently with the Deadly 60 series. Simon has filmed with Steve from the very first series and is soon to head back to Mexico with the Deadly 60 team for series 3.
