4K or Ultra HD footage is captured at 3840 x 2160 pixels, far higher resolution than standard HD (1920 x 1080) giving freedom to crop footage and even take high resolution still images from individual frames. The footage was shot at Sipadan using the Red Epic inside a Gates Deep Red underwater housing.
