In May of 2007 Scubazoo were contracted by leading reference publisher Dorling Kindersley to produce an instructional and aspirational DVD for the newest title in their Go series… Go Scuba Dive.
Sabah’s Turtle Island – Year Of The Turtle 2006
Since 2005, SCUBAZOO have been directly involved in the Year of the Turtle, launched in Bangkok in March 2006. This huge project aims to increase awareness of the plight of sea turtles throughout Asia.

In February 2005, Scubazoo had the opportunity and privilege to work with Sir David Attenborough and the BBC Natural History Unit, as they filmed in Sabah for their latest blockbuster ‘Life in the Undergrowth’.
Shark Fishing Industry In Taiwan
Whilst in Taiwan, Roger travelled to the north of the country to visit a fishing village notorious for landing sharks in huge numbers. At the ‘big fish’ market, around 20 sharks were brought in as Roger was filming, including mako’s , hammerheads and threshers.
RDF Media/National Geographic – Facing Jaws
June 2003 saw Scubazoo shooting ‘Facing Jaws’ a co-production with RDF International in UK on behalf of National Geographic US / International Channels.
Thresher Island
In 2000, SCUBAZOO teamed up with Novista TV & Doug Perrine to produce our own documentary ‘Thresher Island’ about the elusive pelagic thresher shark (Alopias pelagicus).
