Scubazoo filmed all the underwater sequences and events for ITV’s UK Survivor reality show, broadcast in July 2001. Four Scubazoo cameramen filmed for a total of 8 weeks as part of a production crew of 120 on the wild island of Pulau Tiga in the South China Sea.
Saving Paradise – First Freedom Productions
The remote island of Hoga in Indonesia was the location for a 13 part documentary series called Saving Paradise. Broadcast on the BBC’s digital channel ‘UK Horizons’, this production involved Scubazoo filming the underwater adventures of participants on a scientific project called ‘Operation Wallacea’, based in the remote Tukang Besi Archipelago of Southern Sulawesi, Indonesia.
Trekking In Borneo – Pilot Productions

Scubazoo were on location in North West Australia for 3 separate filming expeditions for the Western Australian Natural History Museum’s documentary, Life on the Edge Down Under. This production follows a group of scientists documenting the unexplored ecosystem of the Dampier Archipelago.

24 Hrs Under A Rainbow Sea – National Geographic
This documentary covered the world’s first 24hr underwater shoot on Maaya Thila reef in South Ari Atoll, Maldives. Scubazoo provided two of the leading cameramen on the team, documenting the 24hr cycle of life on this amazing reef ecosystem – one of the most vibrant and spectacular coral reefs left in the world.

Scubazoo filmed the underwater sequences of BBC presenter Nick Baker as he explores the marine environment of Sipadan. The footage shot was supplemented from our extensive library of Sipadan’s underwater world.
